Yesterday during a press conference, ATIA announced its new Chairman of the Board, Mr. Ronnie van Trigt, and its new Director Ms. Michelle de Groot. Mr. Ronnie van Trigt is no stranger to the business community in Aruba. Mr. Ronnie van Trigt has previously functioned as the Chairman of ATIA from 2010 to 2013.

Ms. Michelle de Groot has a Master’s degree in International Business at the University of Tilburg and has more than 10 years of work experience both in the private and public sector, where she did various jobs in the area of marketing. The new Director is in charge of guiding the daily operations of ATIA.

ATIA in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) is currently working on a long-term business plan that will function as the primary guide for the future direction of ATIA as the largest employers’ organization in Aruba. This plan will define among others how to offer the maximum service to our members. The primary focus will remain to champion, promote and protect the interests of our members and also a prosper economic climate in which businesses can thrive.

ATIA is happy with the appointment of both Mr. Ronnie van Trigt and Ms. Michelle de Groot that will surely add to the growth and strenght of ATIA as an organization.
